Will directly feeding oil to mice raise its blood serum cholesterol?

me and my group mates are trying to conduct an experiment wherein we'll be comparing three different modified oils regarding it's effect to blood serum cholesterol. we are planning to use mice as our experimental animals. so uhmm, how do we put the oil into the mice's system? can we give it to them directly? and what amount of oil should we be giving the mice in order to have a change in its cholesterol level?
