Boston attractions- trying to convince someone to go to Boston?

The freedom trail itself has a lot to do. If he is into the military be sure to take in the USS Constitution. Would he be interested in visiting Havard or MIT? Duck tours? Museums? THe subway system is great. We just got back from there and really enjoyed it.
