Quick Question PLEASE.. blow dry or air dry?

I just took a shower and used the Chi shine serum. Sometimes I just wrap my hair up in a bun or ponytail and sleep in it wet. Other times, lately actually, I'vebeen blowdrying it. I want to blow dry it tonight, but would the shine serum get caked up or dry/ not work right if I blow dry it?
